Born of a Mother's Love, Since 2016
S. Paul Academy was founded in 2016 in the loving memory of our beloved Late Shanti Devi — the mother whose warmth, sacrifice and belief in education inspired everything this school stands for. The very name of the school carries her blessing: the "S" in S. Paul Academy stands for Shanti, so that her name lives on in every classroom, every lesson and every child who walks through our gates.
She dreamed that the children of Govindpur and the surrounding villages of Hazaribagh would never be held back for want of a good school. From that dream, a small institution took root and has since grown into a thriving, well-regarded school community trusted by hundreds of families.
Today the school stands on a spacious 1.5-acre campus and is run as a non-profit initiative — managed by the Shanti Memorial Educational Trust, established in her name to serve the community through education.
Today, we serve students from Nursery to Class X, blending a strong academic curriculum with sports, arts and moral education. Our motto, "Perseverance Conquers All", reflects the very spirit she lived by — and the spirit we hope to instill in every child.

In whose loving memory S. Paul Academy was founded
Every institution has a soul, and ours belongs to Late Shanti Devi. A woman of quiet strength and boundless love, she believed that education was the greatest gift a family could give its children — a light that no hardship could ever take away.
When she left us, her family resolved that her name should not fade into memory, but grow into something living and useful for the whole community. And so, in 2016, S. Paul Academy was established in her honour — the "S" forever standing for Shanti.
Today, when a child reads their first word, solves their first sum, or walks up to receive a certificate, her dream comes alive once more. This school is our tribute to her — a promise kept, and a love that continues to teach.
